  6. Is war worth the cost? • Through the evidence I believe that war is worth the cost when lives are being saved.

  7. Could it have been resolved? • The Treaty of Versailles failed and caused World War II therefore it could've been resolved through better and fair negotiations.

  8. World War I • Britain-750,000 soldiers killed 1,500,000 wounded • France-1,400,000 soldiers killed 2,500,000 wounded • Italy-600,000 soldiers killed • Russia-1,700,000 soldiers killed • America-116,000 soldiers killed • Germany-2,000,000 soldiers killed • Austria-Hungary 1,200,000 killed

  9. Treaty of Versailles • Signed June 28, 1919 • Germany was blamed for starting the war • Army reduced to 100,000 • 6 battleships • No air force • Pay the damage • Stopped in 1933 when Nazis came to power

  12. “The Angel of Death” • Josef Mengele • Worked in Auschwitz as a physician • Performed painful experiments • Injected serum in children’s eyeballs • Injected chloroform into twins to see if they would die at the same time and in the same manner

  13. Excerpt from my novel “Icaught up with the others and the people in the front line were being lined up and in a flash of a eye I saw Nava and Rupert in that line. I saw the soldiers pull out their guns and I knew I had to do something or else they will die. My lungs try to scream but they were too weak to even make a noise. i tried to run but my knees were too weak to move. I tried to save the last two people on this earth close to me that meant something to me but gunshots filled the air and bodies fell to the ground like rag dolls”
