The Whitethroat returns each May from Africa, nesting in low areas, while the Green Finch, once abundant, now faces challenges due to harsh winters. The common Chaffinch thrives in the Burren, especially during the winter months when local birds are joined by migrating species from Northern Europe. Discover the struggles and resilience of these beautiful birds and the rich ecological tapestry of the area.
