  18. Product Safety Assurance » The SAS X BAR 500+ Safety Assurance. EarthquakeResistant. Superior fatigue properties make them suitable for Dynamic/Seismic Loading. Corrosion Resistant Owing to the TMT process, the hardened outer casing forms a protective suit, which prevents further corrosion, whereas, in normal CTD bars, the initial layer falls off during the twisting. Moreover, unlike CTD bars, in TMT bars internal stress corrosions are totally absent. Heat Resistant SAS X BAR 500+ are easily resistant to fire hazards, as there is no loss of strength even up to 500°C temperature.
