  3. Eric’s day in the restaurant Eric is a waiter who works in a restaurant that serves western food. He has to wear a clean uniform every day. His job is to take orders. His boss likes him because he is smart, hardworking and most importantly, clean. Health inspectors visit the restaurant once a month. 1. The kind of restaurant... 2. He wears... 3. His boss likes/dislikes him because...

  4. The rush starts at 12 noon when people come in for lunch. He has to work very fast. If he and his colleagues are slow, the customers will complain. He takes orders carefully because he doesn’t want to make any mistake. Making sure the customers do not get cold food is also very important to him. Do you think he is a good waiter? In what way?

  5. After the customers finish their meal, he will bring them their bill. Sometimes the customers are very generous. They give tips. Some just leave without giving tips. Are they mean?
