  4. Adjectives • Words that describe nouns • Adjectives make your sentences more informative, exciting and fun! • Adjectives tell: • What kind • Red blood, mean monster • Which one • That vampire, those people • How many • Many murders, few clues in the case

  5. Types of adjectives • Positive: is the adjective • Mean, ugly • Comparative: an adjective + er (more) • Meaner, uglier • Superlative: an ajective + est (the most) • Meaniest, ugliest
