LABOUR MARKET SITUATION • Maincharacteristic of Polish unemployment: • Seasonality • Differentation between the regions of the country – the difference between the lowest and highest figures was 10,7 percentage points • Registered unemployment is more observed among women – 147 women per 100 unemployed men • Average duration of registered unemployment among men is three months shorter than the figure for women

LABOUR MARKET SITUATION • At the end of September the labour office statistic included 13,0 % unemployed with the right to the benefit • People with the highest qualifications are in much better situation on the labour market – 6,8% - unemployed with higher education • A younger age and better education reduce the risk of remaining unemployed for more than 12 months • The duration of unemployment is increasing
