Public Services Listening Exercise Summary November 2011

Following the Open Public Services White Paper publication, the government conducted a listening exercise to understand the impact of its commitments. Over 750 responses were received, highlighting the importance of choice, diversity, individual services, and neighborhood services. Stakeholders emphasized meaningful choice, transparency, user satisfaction data, and ensuring neighborhoods councils' representativeness and funding. Various views were shared on decision-making powers for devolved services.
