  3. 3 Regions of the 13 Colonies • The New England Colonies included Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.New England was a ship building and whaling Region. • The Middle Colonies included New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. • The Southern Colonies included Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia.

Jobs during Colonial Times Some of tools in Colonial Times were; Augers, gimlets, braces, chisels, gouges, compasses, calipers, drawknives, hammers, planes, saws, squares and bevels.The purpose of being a blacksmith is making tools to help the colonist get work done. The colonist worked long hours each day. Auger Carpenters

  6. Games of the Colonial Times • Rolling hoops • Walking on stilts • A game of 9 pins

  7. Family Life • Rich: Large Plantations • Middle class: 1 or 2 room house • Poor: Dugout houses

  8. Clothing • Men wore Waistcoats, hats, breeches, stockings and shoes. • Women wore hats,lace neck kerchief, shoes, silk petticoats, lace aprons and stomacher gowns.

  9. Foods • Some foods that they ate in the colonial times. • Apple Tansey • Carolina fish muddle • Gazpacho
