Alicia Richardson - English & Developmental Studies Coordinator • Alicia is currently using Voicethread in her fully online Intro to Literature courses to elicit student comments on the elements of fiction. • She creates slides and also has her students, who work in groups, create and upload slides on the elements of fiction and literary terminology. • Groups are responsible for developing questions to accompany the short stories they read. • By the time the class has read the story, students will have engaged in critical quid pro quo and learned new terminology. • Alicia plans to use Voicethread in future to “flip” her F2F courses.
