  2. Chapter 1 Clary and Simon are waiting in line to go in the Pandemonium (a club for kids). Clary and Simon were dancing when Clary saw a blue haired boy fallow a girl (Isabel) in a closet. Two men were short after as one waited outside the other took out a knife and walked in. Clary began to freak out so she yelled for Simon to go get help. As he was running throw the crowd to get help Clary went towards the supply closet. When she realized that Simon couldn't see anything she walked into the supply’s closet and saw three people standing over the blue boy. He was tied to a pool and the people were a talking to them about demons and shadow hunters. Clary thought that they were crazy so she hid behind a pole and listened to there conversation. They blond haired boy (Jace) was talking about someone named Valentine, the blue haired boy didn’t answer so the Jace was about to stab him. Then Clary jumped out from behind the pole and said “ stop you can’t hurt him”, the blond haired guy began to talk to Clary when the blued hair guy came undone and was attacking blond haired guy. Just before the blue haired guy was about to kill Jace he turned and Stabbed him.

  3. Chapter 2 As Clary woke up she realized her mother was gone. She got grounded for staying out past her curfew. She wanted to go back to bed when the phone rang. It was Simon, He invited Clary to a poetry reading what his friends from his band were hosting and sharing there poems. Clary and Simon were talking about the poetry when her mom walked in. She quickly said by to Simon and flopped on the couch. She started to read one of her mothers books. To her surprise it was Luke (her moms friend). He was caring boxes, Clary asked them what they were for and he changed the subject. They were talking about the people what Clary saw last night when her mother walks in. Clary asked about the boxes again, she said we are going to go to the old farm house for the rest of the summer. Clary was ferrous she was screaming at her mother then her mother and Luke began to talk what turned into a fight so Luke ran out the door. As soon as look did that Simon walks in and Clary ran of, Her mom was screaming at her to come back but she kept going. Clary was hunger so they went to a Mexican restaurant and had a something to eat. Clarys mom called her she didn’t answer so her mom kept called and she kept on not answering. Then when they were done eating they walked to the café.

  4. Chapter 3 As they got to the poetry reading Simon got there coffee as Clary found the seats. Clary tried to get a far in the corner as possibly for then Simons friends wouldn’t see them. She found seats at the back of the café so she sat down with her bag and began to rest her head when a girl started talking to her. She had blond hair and was wearing a tank top and shorts. She asked Clary about her friend, she wondered if he was single or if they were dating because she though he was cute. Then Simon came over and we started drinking our coffee when Jace appeared out of no where. He started talking to Clary then disappeared. Clary ran out the café to talk to Jace when her mom called her she answered and there was screaming from the other end. Clary began to freak out, Jace asked her what was wrong when she took something out of Jace’s pocket. She thought it was a phone so she took it. But the thing what she took was a sensor and Jace was trying to tell her that when she didn’t listen and started yelling.

  5. Chapter 4 When Clary got home her house was a deserter books were every where, her mom’s paintings were on the floor ripped up into little pieces. Her house smelled of blood and poison so Clary was scared for her mother. Clary started to walk around her house when a ravaner attacked her she began to scream then as the ravaner was about to kill her she shoved something between its teeth and the ravaner chocked. At the last second before the ravaner died he dove at Clary and bit her neck she was about to dye then Jace comes throw the door and jumps out the window with Clary. If Jace didn’t do anything Clary would dye, so Jace imprinted a mark on her hand because that would be the only way to save her. If Clary was did not have shadow hunting in her blood she could have died but Jace made the imprint any ways. It worked and she does not die from the imprint but will she die from the poison?
