  2. Save Lives and Protect Property -The NHC does an excellent job of informing the general public of a tropical threat. -The private industry takes the next step and delivers specific impact information to a larger audience, all the way down to the “street” level.

  3. Drive Home Impacts!! -Paint a picture of what will happen during landfall at the coast as well as what will happen inland. -Be as truthful and descriptive as possible, no sugar coating if the threat is real. -Update, update, update…pass on any new information as soon as possible.

  4. Impacts Delivered Through The Media - ADC, mobile, radio, television, live T.V. weather chats, and newspapers. -Social media: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram
