  2. Bias • Explain which side you will be promoting through propaganda: the I.F. or a Speaker for the Dead community. • Identify the overall goal of the group.

  3. Leadership Traits • What is your organization looking for in a leader? Identify at least three specific traits and support them with quotes from the novel.

  4. Propaganda: Pathos • Using a pathos appeal, create a piece of propaganda promoting the leadership traits your organization seeks. • Include at least one image.

  5. Propaganda: Pathos Analysis • Identify the propaganda technique you used for your pathos slide. Briefly explain how it is effective. • Remember that by definition propaganda distorts and abuses rhetorical appeals.

  6. Propaganda: Ethos • Using an ethos appeal, create a piece of propaganda promoting the leadership traits your organization seeks. • Include at least one image.
