CSI Teacher STEMM Training Center Grow STEMM presence in Okaloosa County • Teachers must be equipped for the future Technology without teacher expertise does not move STEMM education forward • Center will be equipped with progressive instructional technology • hand-held data-loggers • TI-Nspire devices • digital tablets, etc. • Center will be an incubator for innovative instruction • Center creates excitement and connection with community partners

Middle School STEMM Academy • Phased enrollment: • 2012-1013 6th grade (88 students) • 2013-2014 7th grade (88 students) • 2014-1015 8th grade (88 students) • High performing students may apply/interview • Uniforms required • Curriculum: • Research courses will include Robotics, Un-manned Systems, Engineering, Bio-medical, etc. • Science Fair Projects are a requirement each year • Foreign Language infusion
