  2. 2009 EARCP CHAIRMAN’SANNUAL REPORT JANUARY 24, 2010 The EARCP Chairman Noel Tiburcio delivered his Annual Report for 2009 at the Philippine Restaurant in Abu Dhabi, UAE. At the meeting, the EARCP chairman expressed his intention not to run for re-election to give way to the younger members of the EARCP.

  3. 1st EARCP GENERAL ELECTION FEBRUARY 28, 2010 The 1st EARCP General Election was held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, UAE to elect the new set of EARCP Executive Officers for 2010 – 2012. EARCP Executive Officers : 2010-2012 : Chairman : Julio Balagtas Vice – Chairmen : Roger Sansano Rodel Rodriguez Secretaries : Maria Cristina Mendoza Cristina Borje Finance Officer : Mary Carlize Payongayong PRO : Jessie Mendoza

  4. EARCP’s 2ND YEAR ANNIVERSARY FEBRUARY 28, 2010 The EARCP celebrated its 2nd Year Anniversary at the Intercontinental Hotel in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, UAE. It was a well-attended party by members from various affiliate chapters. The Breathers, the EARCP’s own musical band performed for the first time.

  5. REPUBLIC ACT # 10024Philippine Respiratory Therapy Act of 2009 MARCH 9, 2010 Philppine President Gloria M. Arroyo has signed Republic Act No. 10024 : Philippine Respiratory Therapy Act of 2009 regulating the practice of respiratory therapy through licensure examination in the Philippines. Filipino Respiratory Therapists around the world are rejoicing and ecstatic because of the realization of this long time dream for Filipino respiratory therapists. Finally, after 25 long years, it’s now a reality.

AARC CONGRATULATES FILIPINO RTs WORLDWIDE MARCH 26, 2010 The American Association of Respiratory Care (AARC) congratulates Filipino RTs worldwide for the signing into a law Republic Act No. 10024 : Philippine Respiratory Therapy Act of 2009. AARC Times made a feature story on the Philippine Respiratory Therapy Act of 2009.

The 1st HAAD – CMERESPIRATOTY CARE SYMPOSIUM MAY 29, 2010 The 1ST HAAD – CME Program for Respiratory Therapist entitled “ Respiratory Care Symposium : Standards in Oxygen & Nebulization Therapies” was held for the first time in Tawam Hospital. Attended mostly by EARCP members, it was a well-attended educational event and is an important one for the respiratory therapists. For the first time, it’s a CME exclusive for respiratory therapists only. .

ARCPP 6th ANNUAL CONVENTION &17th NATIONAL RESPIRATORY CARE WEEK JULY 22 – 23, 2010 The ARCPP celebrated the 17th National Respiratory Care Week by conducting their 6th Annual Convention with the theme : “Rekindling the Fire of the Profession, Licensed Respiratory Therapist, the Challenge Is On”. EARCP out-going Chairman Noel Tiburcio and another EARCP member MadilaineUrbano, RPSGT were both invited as speakers.
