TCEUROPE COLLOQUIUM 2011The impact of European directives and standards on technical communications STVY SPRING MEETING 2011 • Colloquium went on very well, positive feedback already at place, from participants and speakers alike, see Eeva’s article in the next Näkymä issue • four persons altogether participating from Finland • Colloquium materials available on TCE web site, http://www.tceurope.org/index.php/colloquium.html • conclusion of the round table discussion in the end was that common guidelines are needed • the next Colloquium will be arranged in co-operation with APCOMTEC in Portugal on 20 - 21 April 2012, most probably with the topic Communications in a Mobile World • MD Working Group had its meeting in connection with Colloquium, the coordinator Hansrudolf Steinhauer will send an action plan later in May.

TCEUROPE AGM 2011 (Annual General Meeting) STVY SPRING MEETING 2011 AGM was very productive, here some major achievements: • Proposal of procedure for future TCE Award handled, and approved with some changes • Proposal of procedure for application for membership handled, and approved with some changes • TCeurope communications, both internal and external discussed -> decision on new more interactive web pages, and comm. strategy by President & Board to be done • INTECOM Code of good practice was discussed -> decision on TCE own Code of good practice to be prepared Decisions about the following new operations were made: • working group for the new web sites - coordinator Brigit van Loggem, STIC • working group for TCE Code of good practice - coordinator Helena Wäppling, FTI • and committee for TCE Award A vote about organising next Colloquium; APCOMTEC, Portugal won STVY, Finland with numbers 5 - 3 If you are interested in participating WGs or committees please contact:sipila.terhi@gmail.com or president@tceurope.org
