Social Issues

Social issues, also known as social problems or conflicts, influence large groups within society. These issues encompass various aspects of human behavior, including government policies, economic disparities, and gender inequalities. Common social problems include global warming, drug abuse, poverty, and civil rights. By examining these issues, we can identify who holds power in society, how laws are created, and the consequences of disobeying them. Engaging in social projects, such as researching specific issues in your community, can promote awareness and action towards addressing these challenges.

  2. What is a social issue? • A social issue (also called a social problem or a social illness or even a social conflict) refers to an issue that influences and is opposed by a considerable number of individuals within a society.

  3. Social issues are those which affect the human society as a whole. These issues pertain to human behavior, including government policies, religious conflicts, gender inequalities, economic disparities, etc.
