Enhancing Campus Safety Through Effective Alcohol Intoxication Training and Crisis Response

This initiative aims to bolster campus safety by implementing an informal policy that emphasizes the importance of attitude tests for students, ensuring they remain free from citations. With a community of fewer than 10,000 residents, our campus of 7,000 students provides acute alcohol intoxication training for about 10% of its population annually. Guided by qualified alcohol and drug professionals, our volunteer crisis teams are prepared for high-risk events. Evaluating over 10,000 data points ensures confidence in both crisis responses and the necessity of contacting emergency medical assistance when needed.
