  2. CPD Report Mack Surveillance Panel September, 2005 • T10/T11 Small Turbo (631GC5145M3) • 10 on order • Mack is working with supplier on cost and timing • Possible initial receipt in two weeks; remainder to follow

  3. CPD Report Mack Surveillance Panel September, 2005 • T11 Top Rings • Replacement top rings (349GC3107) are being distributed to labs as they are being requested for any T11 kits in lab inventory • All kits are being sold with the 349GC3107 top ring

  4. CPD Report Mack Surveillance Panel September, 2005 • T-12 Hardware • A new set of rings from Batch M and Batch N have been supplied to Mack for analysis • One each of the Batch M and Batch N piston crowns have been supplied to Mack for analysis • Have reviewed dimensional data for each batch and found no major differences

  5. CPD Report Mack Surveillance Panel September, 2005 • T-10 Kits • TEI ordered 50 builds worth of T-10 kits and received less than half • TEI and Mack are working on obtaining more hardware, if needed • What is T-10 need?

  6. CPD Report Mack Surveillance Panel September, 2005 • Batch Coding • A batch is treated as all parts received at the same time. Each batch is given a letter code (A,B,C, etc..) • Date code corresponds with a package date not necessarily a manufacture date • There may be more than one date code within a batch indicating the parts were packaged on different dates

  7. CPD Report Mack Surveillance Panel September, 2005 • Rebuild Kit Serial Numbers • Example: MK12-12001-MJK • MK12 indicates a T12 kit • 12001 is a unique number assigned to each liner kit • M is the cylinder kit batch • J is the rod bearing batch • K is the main bearing batch

  8. CPD Report Mack Surveillance Panel September, 2005 • Rebuild Kit Serial Numbers (continued) • If a date code changes within a batch then a 1 is added. • Example: MK12-12001-MJ1K indicates that the date code for the rod bearing changed • Cylinder kits (liners and rings) are identified by individual numbers (12001, 12002, etc..) • The bearings are supplied with the set number and batch number
