  5. Gas Hydrate • Gas hydrates is ice-like crystalline solid composed of water and natural gas. • Most of gas found in gas hydrates is methane.

  20. Sumary • Gas hydrate is promising future energy of the world. • Some countries has done studies in gas hydrate intensively. Indonesia needs to start doing research in gas hydrate as well. • The existence of gas hydrate may cause some problems such as global warming and slope instability.
