  6. Purposes of a Culminating Activity • Summarize the lesson • Allows students to demonstrate what they have learned • Provides teachers an assessment of the lesson

Overview and standards For the purposes of a Media-Rich lesson think Learning Objectives • Things to consider • Objectives are based on this lesson • Objectives must relate to an SOL • SOLs are usually too big to be an objective • All objectives must be addressed in the lesson • All objectives must be assessed

  15. Participate in a peer review of your Media-Rich lesson Learn what needs to be done to turn a Media-Rich lesson into an NTTI lesson If you are collaborating with a colleague you are welcome to bring them to the training The first follow-up

  16. Add the lesson parts and scripting needed to turn your Media-Rich lesson into an NTTI lesson Make use of online tutorials to get questions answered If possible, use the lesson with your students Continue collaborating with a colleague Between the first and second follow-ups
