A Councillor Call for Action (CCfA) empowers Ward Councillors to address local issues by negotiating resolutions or utilizing their authority. When concerns arise, Councillors can effectively engage with an Area Panel or Overview and Scrutiny Committee (OSC) to place these matters on the agenda for discussion within ten working days. Following thorough investigation, the Area Panel or OSC can request information from relevant authorities and may issue reports or recommendations to the Executive or partner agencies, fostering community engagement and accountability.
