  2. 2010 Data Collection Latest Zoning and Future Land Use (FLU) information (polygons with codes and metadata) Latest Parcel Polygons / footprints if available Full Tax Digest – Please advise if this needs to be collected from the Tax Assessor Office for your area Latest Street Layer (Lines with Attributes) Latest Community Facilities

GIS Training at ARC Fourteen classes, 139 students since March 2008 Registration is handled through ARC’s Community Planning Academy Available to local government staff only,Class size limited to 12 Email announcements go out in advance of classes Check the Community Planning Academy page of ARC’s website for upcoming classes and online registration, ESRI website for course details Please contact Paul DiGirolamo at 404-463-3520 or pdigirolamo@atlantaregional.comfor more information Upcoming Software and Curriculum Upgrade ESRI is completely redesigning the curriculum and training program to coincide with the release of ArcGIS 10 sometime later this year New requirements for instructors, details not yet released by ESRI, so future of GIS training at ARC is uncertain past the end of this year Hoping to offer Desktop I & Desktop II twice more this year, probably July-August and October-November
  4. Georgia ESRI ELA for RCs The Georgia Association of Regional Commissions voted to sign a three-year ESRI Enterprise License Agreement First Regional ESRI ELA in the nation Allows RC’s to access the entire suite of ESRI software, except royalty-based packages (ArcPad, Business Analyst).
