  2. The Players Audio Enhancement: (Tim): This company operates the cameras and audio system. Safari Montage: Web site for viewing cameras but also includes curriculum pieces. Security: There is a security team that is helping coordinate safety measures.

  3. Audio System 35 year study shows that audio in classrooms raises test scores 10 – 15 %. Audio system cuts down teacher absences by 2/3 because of voice strain. Adjust volume on microphone and not on black box. Sound should be at 65 decibels Mic in plug: you can plug in iphone or ipod

  4. Safari Montage • Username is same as email. • To Record: Under Modules • Select video streaming • Click on camera to change view • Click on s and then play for single view • Every time you change the camera view, you need to click on play. • Need to schedule a recording for at least 10 minutes from now. • Make sure camera iris is open.

  5. Camera Data In high school, cameras resulted in a decrease in 80% discipline problems. In elementary cameras resulted in a decrease of 90% discipline problems.

  6. Media Upload Go under Modules to media upload Can browse for item or can drag it into the box. Does a virus scan to be sure that everything that is sent out is virus free.

  7. Uploads Can change title and give a description Need to be very specific in title because this is how you will search for items. Rights Management: you can share either with just district or give home access. If you want to work at home you need to click on home access. Downloadable: click on this to download video to save on computer.

  8. Playlists Go under playlists Go to media upload items to add to playlists When the playlist is open you can use the arrows to move items up or down

  9. Video Segments Under video segments you can change start and end time to show video segments. If you tape a lesson and don’t need all of it you can pull out the segment you need.

  10. Student Access When you share something you will get a link and a QR code. You can send these to students to view. When students click on link it will ask for their login to safari montage. Their username and password should be same as email. Can send videos of teachers only. No student videos can be shared at this point.
