  1. Safe Environment Refresher Training In an effort to continue ensuring the children and youth of our diocese receive the best protection possible, the Diocese of Savannah requires a refresher module to complement the VIRTUS program “Protecting God’s Children for Adults.” Every adult who comes into contact with minors as part of their ministry will need to complete this refresher once every five years to continue their ministerial duties.

  2. How to complete Refresher Training • You do not have to attend VIRTUS training again to complete this training • Refresher Training requires about ten minutes of your time and is accessed through the VIRTUS profile you built when you originally registered your training at www.virtus.org. • Please log on at www.virtus.org and follow the following steps.

  3. Upon logging onto your account, please locate the yellow link “Safe Environment Refresher Training”, the top left link under your “Toolbox” tab. Click on the link to access the training.

  4. Click the download link under the appropriate PDF Icon (English or Spanish). Your Refresher Training document will open. Once you have read it, please click on the link

  5. Your Refresher Training is now complete. • Thank you for your gift of ministry, and helping our Diocese protect our children. • If you have any questions regarding training, or if you need help with your user name and password, please contact Joan B.
