OUR NATION IS AT A STANDSTILL Today, if an elected official reaches across the aisle, they are attacked not only by their own party, but also by the other party, the political pundits, the media, the blogosphere, and extremist groups on all sides. National Conversation with America Featuring Howard Schultz, CEO of Starbucks • The September town hall focused on the crisis of confidence in our country, and the need for our officials to work across the aisle to find common sense solutions. • Had over 100,000 participants and received major media coverage. We plan to host a similar event this October. 

  15. MAKE IMPACT BUILD OUR ARMY 100 million citizens believe that our politics are broken. We need to organize less than 1% of them to make our leaders listen to us. MOBILIZE OUR ARMY E-mails, phone calls, town halls, and community outreach. 16
