  2. City Hall vs. Nike Notices are boring, and in some cases, unreadable. Discourages citizens from making a difference. City hall assumes apathy. “Less than one person in 1,000 actually reads the fine print online.” -forbes.com

  3. Public Space Seemingly “useless” things are advertised. Price of advertisement is outrageous. Superbowl – $3.5 Million for 30s. Unprofessional campaign ads bore and fail to move audience. “$100,000 a second on superbowl ads.” -newday.com

  4. Media Magazines, newspapers, yahoo, aol. Headlines usually aren’t politics. Cat stuck in tree vs. next nation’s leader. “Only 39% of people voluntarily watch or check the news.” -peoplepress.org

  5. Not a political cartoon, But a cartoon nonetheless. Heroes People forget that heroes are voluntary. Anyone can be the hero. Media makes heroism look like it requires strength and perseverance. “Educational studies indicate that 20-50% of intellectually gifted students are not motivated and under-achievers.” -about-underachieving-teens.com

  6. Parties All about competition. So concentrated on winning, that necessities are ignored. Only argument is “dirt” on the other candidates. “More than 2.5 million voters have left the two major parties since the 2008 elections.” -usatoday.com

  7. Elections Voting process is becoming more difficult. Constantly changing the parameters in which voting is allowed. “56.8% of those who can vote actually do.” -infoplease.com
