Bullying

DESCRIPTION

Bullying is defined as treating someone abusively or forcing them through coercion. Alarmingly, statistics reveal that one-third of teens report being bullied in school, with 11% experiencing physical bullying and 4% victims of cyberbullying. The tragic case of Amanda Cummings demonstrates the severe consequences bullying can have, as her suicide was linked to peer harassment at New Dorp High School. High-profile individuals like Chris Rock and Miley Cyrus illustrate that bullying can affect anyone, highlighting the importance of addressing this social issue.
