1. WHAT IS

2. 5G TECHNOLOGY EXPLAINED 5G is a cellular network technology that dictates the way how a cellular network works. It comprises how radio frequencies are used, and how many components of the devices we rely on use radio signals and share data with each other.

3. THREE SEPARATE SPECTRUM BANDS Low-band - sub 1GHz Mid-band - offers fast coverage while providing lower latency levels than low-band spectrum High-band - has the ability to provide peak speeds as high as 10 Gbps with low latency

4. BENEFITS OF THE 5G NETWORK Better coverage Smaller base stations could mean that 5G can go into hard-to-reach places, and there will no longer be issues with obtaining permission for new towers. More speed The 5G network may offer download speeds that are between 500 to 1500 Mbps faster than 4G Reduced signal loss A standard 5G cell tower will be able to service about 100 times more devices than a 4G cell tower can.

5. POTENTIAL 5G USES 5G has the potential to change our relationship with technology and change the way we approach communication across the entire world.

6. USE 1: REMOTE CONTROL OPERATION Because of 5Gs very low latency, the ability to operate heavy machinery via remote control is a very real possibility. This will minimize serious hazards, and enable machinery to be used from virtually anywhere.

7. USE 2: AUTONOMOUS VEHICLES Vehicles will actually have the ability to communicate with one another. They’ll be able to offer drivers with information about other vehicles on the road, as well as road conditions.

8. USE 3: IMPROVED SAFETY 5G will also improve safety overall. Cities will be able to use surveillance cameras to monitor and respond to crime. Utility companies will be able to monitor infrastructure to make repairs before something goes wrong and the infrastructure fails.

9. CONCLUSION 5G is poised to make drastic changes to our world. If you’re developing something using 5G technology, we’d love to hear. Contact us if you’d like to learn what we can do for you. https://bit.ly/2yif7wx
