WHAT WE ARE ABOUT • COURAGE, COMMITMENT, CHARACTER • We are interested in developing your son in every way that we possibly can • Academics matterto us!! Must handle both • We want to build a community that we all can be proud of…and we want to do it through Football….we want to be the example of THE COUGAR NATION!
WHAT YOU SHOULD EXPECT • Your kid to be pushed in every way! • A serious and deep commitment from the coaching staff • Knowledgeable coaches constantly trying to figure out how to get better and get our community better • Your son to have to start doing things for themselves…they need to manage, they need to organize, they need to communicate. • The TRUTH! To you and your son! • This may come off as brutal at times, but we operate in honesty at Centennial
WHAT YOU SHOULD NOT EXPECT • Excuses to be accepted • Laziness to be tolerated (academically also) • To be told what you want to hear • To have a say in how the program operates when it comes to the game of Football • To miss or not have to workout, even if you play another sport • We want our guys to play other sports, so we MUST develop our athletes while they do this!
WHAT IT SHOULD LOOK LIKE • Professional – We give our best and expect that from anyone that touches our program • Community – Something we all roll up our sleeves and work to make better. So much that we are filled with pride in our accomplishments as a program and school! • TEAM – A group of people that put the team/program first. Must approach it as if your kid will never play and you still support us! Individuals will not make it!
WE MUST BE ALL IN!! • WE have to care more about building our OWN path, not succumbing to the negativity brought on by others! • WE must not accept mediocrity, but rather bust down the door of success!! • “Anything in life worth doing is not easy!” • We all look forward to the journey
