  2. Contact Center Inquiries • 39 trouble tickets since June • Of the 39 tickets, 8 kits were returned to Kansas City • Circuit card/display needed to be reseated • Defective switch

  4. Contact Center Inquiries • Several tickets related to the assembly instructions • Feedback from the field resulted in many early changes to the instructions

  6. Common Issues • Settings • Does the Site ID need to be 8 digits ? • YES, the Site ID MUST be 8 digits. The third and fourth digits will be zeros • Does the data logger lose settings when the battery is disconnected? • NO, the settings are saved to memory

  7. Common Issues • Installation • Which way should the load cell be installed? • It can be installed either parallel or perpendicular to the base • Does the load cell require locking washers? • NO, it does not

  8. Common Issues • Error Codes • What is a hardware error #4207? • This occurs when the SD card is removed incorrectly after downloading data

  9. Common Issues • Data Issues • The data shows large swings in data? • Check the base itself: flexors, plunger position, calibration, post not touching lower assembly • Bent flexors • Uneven base • Recalibration

  10. Common Issues • Data Issues • Data lost because of power resets? • Check the connections, wires, cables, terminal strip, voltage on the battery, wiring diagram, blockage on the solar panel • Connection at the terminal was loose • Bad battery • Loose battery cable

  11. Common Issues • Data Issues • Data are showing decreases/increases? • Check the oil level • No oil therefore precipitation was evaporating • No oil with the antifreeze therefore moisture was being absorbed from the atmosphere

  12. Common Issues • Logger Issues • The logger would not wake up and a red status light was flashing? • Check the connections, wires, cables, terminal strip, voltage on the battery, wiring diagram, solar panel • Solar panel was cracked • Bad grounding wire
