  5. Reading Seed Labels • Will the majority of your grass seed germinate? • This tells you what seed is still alive in your package. • The higher the better.

  7. Reading Seed Labels • Literally tells you the amount of weed seed in your mix • The lower the better (0.5% is acceptable limit) • Higher percentage here means lower quality seed
