  5. The Rules of Science Class… • Are almost the same as they were last year • Where can you find them?

  6. The Rules of Science Class • Basically, do what you are supposed to do. • The new rules are • Bad Behavior=No Labs • Do not switch the chairs.

  7. Class Policies • Missing work=two days, and then a zero. • Absent? You have to let me know. • Part of an assignment is turning it in. • No extra credit, dropping the lowest grade, or partial credit. • Check grade portal often. • If we have a problem, talk to me.

  8. Tabs for Your Binders • Notes-Each lesson will be numbered • Labs • Tests/Quizzes • Glossary • You will not use a textbook.

  9. Grades • 80% of your report card grade will be daily grades. • 20% of your report grade will be tests/projects. • We will have very few tests. • You will do a science project every six weeks.
