This project focuses on enhancing the livelihoods of rural women farmers in Kenya through comprehensive in-country training programs and innovative use of radio. In 2010, we conducted two national training sessions and six regional training workshops, empowering over 306 women leaders. We also initiated the Farmer Voice Radio Project to disseminate agricultural tips and foster interactive extension services. Additional programs, including a gemology course and strategic studies on the dairy sector, provide skills and income opportunities, ultimately boosting rural economies.
