The Wisconsin Program, initiated in 1985, transformed the approach to Masonic recruitment and education. In its first year, the idea emerged amidst Shawano's good men, sparking a need for better solicitation methods. The program evolved from 1986 with a resolution to revise solicitations and examinations, actively engaging members' spouses in discussions. Over the years, it saw a significant increase in Master Masons raised—18 within just 12 months. By 1997, it became a mandatory educational tool focused on history and symbolism, ensuring a rich legacy in the Masonic community.
