  3. England's geography The part of the highland zone of England’s southwest peninsula is often referred to as the West Country. This peninsula, which sticks out into the Atlantic Ocean, contains the countries of Devon and Cornwell. It has hilly, rough areas, and many scenic valley. Location: Western Europe, islands including the northern one-sixth of the island of Ireland between the North Atlantic Ocean and the North Sea, northwest of France Area: total: 244,820 sq km land: 241,590 sq km water: 3,230 sq km note: includes Rockall and Shetland Islands Climate: temperate; moderated by prevailing southwest winds over the North Atlantic Current; more than one-half of the days are overcast

  4. Tower bridge!! This famous bridge is on the River Thames and it is about 116 years old. The bridge is 260 metres long and the tower is about 75 metres tall. It took 8 years, 5 major contractors and the relentless labour of 432 workers to build Tower Bridge. It’s very famous and I love it too!

  5. Buckingham palace~! Buckingham Palace was build in 1703.And it’s in the west of St. James’ Park. And now it is the British palace. Queen Elizabeth lives in the palace. Maybe you can see her in the palace. There are some lakes, grass, path and many kinds of flowers. It’s very beautiful and I love it.
