Statements below from WASC accreditation findings • Created a school model that offers online curriculum delivery, but is blended with face to face instructional support, meeting daily with students. • Providing students with a rich, rigorous education and preparing them for life after high school • Successfully created an environment that has encouraged students to be challenged and work harder with better results than previous experiences Full WASC Accreditation

More than doubled enrollment since opening doors • Set up fully functioning computer labs for student use • Trained all teachers in online curriculum delivery • Offered all classes needed for student success • Developed a school site plan • Established a School Site Council • Created a school wide safety plan • Chose mascot : Trailblazers • Developed School Wide Learner Outcomes : FORWARD • Created a fully functioning Comprehensive High School in a non-traditional format Accomplishments to date

We use numerous different Online curriculum providers for our course work. • Teachers work with curriculum and student need to determine and develop the best fit for each student. • Besides online work, the teachers are developing and implementing in class lessons for when students are in the classroom and need support or acceleration of a subject. • Odysseyware is our main provider for most subjects • APEX is used for AP and Honors course work and Foreign Language Curriculum for Student Success

We have a variety of student types on our campus ~ • Very Shy • High Anxiety • Asperger’s students • High Achievers who are frustrated with “drama” at typical high school • Desire for time to work in the community • Students needed to work with and help with family obligations • Religious commitments • Those liking small environment learning and more interaction with material • Students wanting specific teacher attention Student type

  12. Flexibility is key for parents and students! They select the period that they will attend Daily Schedule Computer lab is open daily for student use 7:00-3:30 Early Release Wednesday 2 Hour labs are also scheduled depending on the course

We are looking to enroll for next year Contact Rivercrest Preparatory (951) 360-2660 • I will be setting up site meetings at each middle school and high school for information and registration purposes throughout April and May and look forward to talking to students and parents about this new and exciting way to learn.
