Free to SOAR

Free to SOAR. Free to SOAR. An obstacle we must overcome: Our Past. Soaring is not in the future for those who choose to live in the past. To tell ourselves that we will never soar because of the brokenness of our past is putting limits on God.

  9. Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise theLord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases,

  10. who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed  like the eagle’s. --Psalm 103

  14. 4 characteristics of the Father’s love: * it is sacrificial * it is eternal

  19. 4 characteristics of the Father’s love: * it is sacrificial * it is eternal * it is personal

  20. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, “Abba, Father.” For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children. --Rom. 8:14-16
