Overview of My Daily Classes and Key Learnings

In this reflection, I share my experiences from various classes throughout the day. In keyboarding with Mr. Ptaszkiewcz, I've learned the basics and improved my typing speed. Science with Ms. Brian involves daily questions and hands-on lab work. Music with Mr. Hopkins allows for creative journal time and drumming practice. We also focus on vocabulary in Reading with Mr. Erickson and enjoy delicious lunches with friends. My afternoon includes swimming with Mr. Laddick and math workshops with Ms. Romanoff. Additional English lessons cover plagiarism, while math with Mr. Brown focuses on algebra, followed by exploring world history with Ms. Wirth.

  1. My classes & what I've learned By: Deonte Howell

  2. 1st period: keyboarding • Mr.Ptaszkiewcz • Learning the basic, the cousin, and the number keys • GWAM:speed • Currently using power point

  3. 2nd period: science • Ms. Brian • Doing the daily question • Working at the lab tables every day • We either read or do a worksheet on whatever we read about

  4. 3rd period: music • Mr.Hopkins • Work in journals for first 5 mins of class • Go up to the drumming section to practice our pulses • Write in journals what we've learned today

  5. 4th period: reading • Mr.Erickson • Doing the bell ringer • Reviewing the bell ringer • Currently working on vocab in library

  6. 5th period: lunch • Staff • I like the pizza a lot but I really like the wraps they have also • I can buy fresh cookies from the snack stand for a dollar • I have a lot of friends in lunch

  7. 6th period: day A: swimming • Mr.laddick • Go into the locker rooms to change • Dive into the pool,down and back for a warm up • Currently working back stroking

  8. 6th period: day B: math workshop • Ms. Romanoff • Do bell ringers • Work on computers for 15 mins • Currently working on apex vs.com

  9. 7th period: English • Mrs.Boswell • Do bell ringers • Read about the different types of rules in the English • Currently learning about plagiarism

  10. 8th period: math • Mr.Brown • Do bell ringers • Work in books • Currently working on algebra

  11. 9th period: world history • Ms.Wirth • Do bell ringers • Wait to get graded on bell ringers • Currently working on black history posters
