Changes to ECAS Procedures
This announcement outlines recent changes to ECAS procedures for submitting new and updated undergraduate courses in the College of Liberal Arts (CLA) as of September 12, 2013. Key updates include the introduction of a "Provost" approval queue that follows the "College/Dean" queue and precedes the "LE" queue. New courses must now include a student-ready syllabus, evidence of consultation, and meet specific strategic objectives. Updated courses must also document learning outcomes, ensuring all submissions adhere to new requirements to facilitate efficient curriculum committee reviews.
