  6. Before & During a Hurricane Staff working 12 hour shifts Social Media

  7. Staff Positions • Storm Coordinator • Weather Briefings • Media Interviews • Long & Short Term Forecasts • Warning Operations • Balloon Launches • Hurricane Statements • Social Media • Communicators • IT • Electronics Repair • Amateur Radio Shift Change 8am & 8pm

  10. Media is welcome to conduct live interviews before, during, & after the storm

  11. We will ride out the storm at our facility

  12. Emergency Response Meteorologists Deployed To Victoria & Corpus Christi EOC’s

  13. If our office goes down, the NWS in New Braunfels, Houston, or Mobile AL will take over.

  14. After the Storm • Continue to provide daily forecasts and warning operations 24 x 7. • Organize and dispatch Storm Survey Teams • Coordinate and ride along with Emergency Managers • Assemble Post Storm Report
