Born Again in Christ John 3:3-7 (Jesus speaking to Nicodemus) Titus 3:5 says we’re saved “by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit.” Colossians 2:12-13 When we are “buried with Him in baptism,” we are “made alive together with Him.” Romans 6:4 When we are “buried with Him through baptism, in order that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life.”

To Grow Must Have Good Exercise In Galatians 5:6, Paul described the Christian life as “faith working through love.” The Christian life is certainly something we do, and we grow and improve by doing more of what God has called us to do. 1 Timothy 4:7 “Exercise yourself toward godliness.” v8 says, “For bodily exercise profits little, but godliness is profitable for all things, since it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.”

Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump of dough? Clean out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump...” When the people of Israel were given the promised land of Canaan, they were ordered to drive out the heathens. Solomon chose to marry numerous heathen wives, and they led him away from being faithful to the Lord.
