FedEx Ground's FY '07 United Way Campaign introduces a new strategy to boost company-wide pledge commitment. Past participation rates were 7% nationally and 25% locally in 2005, prompting the need for a robust approach. This campaign will segment the organization into units led by DVPs and DHRMs, promoting individual plans and activities at local levels, ultimately aiming for a grand total of $820,000 raised, including company matches. This initiative emphasizes community involvement and employee contributions through payroll deductions.
