  3. BrainMoves 3/3/2014 Put the steps in a bill becoming a law in order: • The President vetoes the bill. • B. Two-thirds majority vote of Congress is needed to approve a vetoed bill. • C. The House and Senate Committee members work out the differences between the two • versions. • D. Committee Action: The House/Senate committee may approve, rewrite, or kill the bill. • E. Floor Action: The House/Senate debates and votes on its version of the bill. • F. Introduction: The House/Senate introduces a bill and refers it to a committee. • G. Bill becomes a law. • H. Both Houses of Congress pass the revised bill.
