  5. Prudence • Helps us to make correct/practical judgments. • It is the art of making sensible choices in the spur of the moment decisions. • It asks the question: “What is the right thing to do in this situation?” The Cardinal Virtues

  6. The virtue that says that all people have rights and should have their basic needs met. Justice

  7. Courage. Strength when confronted with difficulties. Fortitude

  8. Perseverance in pursuing that which is good. Courage is not the absence of fear. To stand up for what is right in the face of pressure or circumstances when we are being called upon to step out of our usual patterns of behavior. Fortitude

  9. Self control. A balanced use of God’s gifts. Temperance

  10. A virtue of personal harmony and balance. Having temperance need not eliminate having a good time, it just reminds us that even good things can turn sour when we abuse them and allow them to control us. Temperance

  11. An overall consistency in behavior patters. Living and practicing what you say you are Integrity

  12. Stated Values Lived Values are those values that we claim are important to us. are the values we demonstrate in our actions.
