  12. ACCOMPLISHMENTS • Stafford County Public Schools recognized by the Virginia School Board Association (VSBA) as a 2009 & 2010 “Certified Green School Division” through the GO GREEN VIRGINIA CHALLENGE

  14. ACCOMPLISHMENTS • Recycling Video Contest • In its 3nd Year – Over 100 Entries from 30 Schools • Sponsorship provided by GCA Custodial Services and Waste Management Refuse Services • Promoting Recycling Message • Video’s to be broadcast on Division’s Cable Channel and other areas

ACCOMPLISHMENTS • Recycling Challenge • School at each school level (ES, MS & HS) compete against each other on the amount of recyclable material collected • Monetary Awards for winners • Green Education Award • Teacher, Para and/or Staff Member at each school level who excels in promoting recycling, energy conservation and green initiatives • Monetary Award for individual and school
