One Standard, Consistent Application High Tackles Above shoulders, even if it starts lower Careless & without obvious intent – PK minimum Dangerous/Reckless – YC minimum Repetitive – caution and YC Start at red and look at mitigating circumstances why a red should not be given before choosing yellow
One Standard, Consistent Application Lifting and Tip Tackles lifted above ground (but not more than horizontal) and not bought safely to ground – PK lifted to horizontal & dropped - YC head below hips & driven to ground - RC Note: a normal driving low tackle where a player is lifted slightly off the ground and lands on bottom is not a tip tackle – liken this to a diving tackle bag technique
