  2. Task 2 • In 2010, Pinky Promise Clothing Store sold their popular pink promise hoodies for $25.00. • In 2014, the hoodie has not changed in design and popularity. However, the price for the hoodie is now $55.00 • Describe the rate of change in the cost of the hoodie from 2010 to 2014.

  3. Task 3 • Jayna hates driving! Despite this fact, her family always elects her to do the driving on their vacatoin. • This year Jayna told her family that she though about it and came up with compromise. • She stated she will not drive for more than 10 hours or 400 miles. She will not drive for more than 535 miles • Her family wants her to drive for 5 hours at a rate of 60mph to their first landmark, then 40 mph for 3 and a half hours to the second post. Finally, Jayna will drive 65 mph for 1 and a half miles to Uncle Bobs. • Will Jayna be driving this year? Explain.

  4. Task 4 • Write an expression using the initial of your classmate’s last name. • Show and explain all work.

  5. Task 5 • Research 10 events in Canada’s history. • Write an equation where the solution equals the date of the events. • Example_ Railroad expanded in 1980. Riddle: In what year was the railroad expanded? Equation: R/ 2 = 990, R= 1980.
