ECOM Plan Update Differences between National and State Plans
This guide outlines the key differences between National and State ECOM plans, highlighting what makes state plans unique. While all northeastern states require a state ECOM plan, Virginia is the only state with a documented version so far. State ECOM plans are designed to support AFMARS members during emergencies, offering guidance without restating the National plan. Included are elements such as National Guard contacts, emergency management maps, and state-specific terminology. This resource is essential for effective communication in emergencies.
