  11. Graduation Requirements • Language Arts: 4 years • Physical Education and Health: 4 years • Mathematics: 3 years • Social Studies: 3 years • World Languages: 2 years • Practical Arts: 1 year • Fine Arts: 1 year

  12. Criteria for Honors Classes • See page 14 of the POS for detailed information. • In honors already: • Final grade of B- or better in the current class • Moving from college prep to honors or AP: • Final grade of A- or better in the current class

  13. What is the GPA? • GPA=Grade Point Average (page 16 of POS) • Calculation based on level of course (Advanced Placement, Honors or College Prep) and grade earned in the course • Example: • A+ in AP = 5.33 • A+ in Honors = 5.00 • A+ in College Prep = 4.33
