  7. Only TEACHERs are allowed to push the Carts. • Students cannot use a laptop unless they have been trained and signed the signature sheet. • No matter what cart is used, students will use the same laptop number every time. • Laptop must be signed out in logbook IKE- C.O.W. Usage Protocol

  8. Startup • Open laptop and push the power button • Do not push any other buttons while computer is loading. • Look over laptop to make sure it has no damage while your waiting for it to load. • If there is damage, notify teacher immediately IKE- C.O.W. Usage Protocol(2)

  9. Login • Each classroom has a specific login and password. • Select “other user” and then login • Login and password are case sensitive. • Wait for windows to completely load and log into the wireless network (don’t touch anything until you see the windows screen and the pointer stop spinning and wireless icon in bottom of screen showing connection.)   10. Usage • Remember to abide by the policy's and procedures you have been trained on. • Failure to comply will result in possible loss of usage privileges and building and district discipline. IKE- C.O.W. Usage Protocol(4)

  11. Shutdown • Click on the start button and then select “shutdown” • Wait until computer has completely shutdown before returning laptop to cart. • Gently place laptop into its specific slot(e.g. – A1, C3, B4) • Plug power adapter securely into laptop • Students cannot leave the classroom until all laptops are placed back on cart.   15. You have already been assigned a specific laptop in alphabetical order. • You must print your name clearly, sign your name and write in the designated laptop number you will be using. Signature Consent Page(2)

  16. Your teacher will tell you what laptop number you need to write according to what they have written in the Usage Log. • Once you have done this, you are clear to use the Laptop. • No Signature = No Laptop Signature Consent Page(3)
